As one of Maine's newest callers, I am focused on creating a dance experience centered around one idea - FUN. With a uniquely relaxed style, a mix of contemporary and traditional music, and choreography that is adapted to the dancer's abilities, your crowd is sure to leave a dance evening with a smile.

I call the Basic through Plus programs, and can tailor a dance event to match your club's traditions. I am a current member of Callerlab, and I am BMI/ASCAP licensed, so you can rest assured that your dance will have a fully legal and professional treatment.

I am currently the club caller for the Squire Town Squares in Winthrop, ME and the Friendship Squares in Wilton, ME. Both clubs have classes starting in September and January, so grab a partner and check the Calendar for Times and Locations!
EVENTS
Square Dancing is a great way to bring people together in a common activity or goal. Whether for a corporate team-building, a wedding or family gathering, a campground weekend, or a just a Saturday night "try something new" experience, I will work with you and your venue's staff to create an event that will make your guests leave smiling, feeling accomplished, and maybe even a little bit tired!

THIS IS ME
I am Michael Dusoe, and I have been dancing since 2003 when our first son was 6 days old. After a short hiatus, we returned to dancing in 2012, and that is when I started calling as well. I love the square dance activity, mostly for the community. You will never meet a nicer person than a square dancer, and I consider myself fortunate to know as many as I do. My wife, Melissa, and I have raised our 2 boys within this community, and they are better for it.

In addition to square dancing, we enjoy camping, bowling, board gaming, and just hanging out.
